Come to Holly Springs and Celebrate Throughout the Year with Us!

Annual Events in Holly Springs

You might be tempted to think Holly Springs is a boring place to live. Not a chance!  Here in Holly Springs weekends are lively with Town-sponsored family activities in our local park and downtown area. Depending on the time of year, you can meet family and friends for a free movie night or concert during the warmer months or seasonal events which include a traditional Easter Egg Hunt and the Happy Holly Days Parade. One of the more popular annual highlights of Holly Springs is the HollyFest celebration scheduled for the last Saturday in October. This festive event includes free music, food, rides for the kids, arts and crafts, a 5-K run, and fireworks.

More Local Holly Springs Events!

Coinciding with Halloween, residents of Holly Springs enjoy the annual Kiwanis Club Haunted Schoolhouse in October. For a “spooktacular” time, volunteers decorate the Town’s community center, offering frightful terror-tours with plenty of Halloween scares. Young children can visit the facility during the early evening hours for a less intense friendly tour. Other fun activities include free face painting and hayrides.

Other family-friendly favorite events include the Main Street Christmas, sponsored by the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce. Come get in the holiday spirit as locals gather at Town Hall to deck the Christmas tree, enjoy hayrides around the downtown block and listen to local church carolers. Be prepared for a long line of children as they await their turn to sit on Santa Claus’ lap. Be sure to listen as Mrs. Claus reads children’s stories and dishes out fresh-baked cookies and milk. Another local favorite during the holidays is the Happy Holly Days Parade. This festive December parade marches down Main Street, and is always a local favorite.
